In wake of news that the 3DS/Wii U eShop is shutting down over the course of the next year, Sqat and Ratnado discuss the disappointing history of game companies providing their retro content on modern systems. They try to determine which of the major console manufacturers does it best, or rather the least bad.
"You've met with a terrible fate, haven't you?"
Ratnado has learned of the impending 3DS & Wii U eShop closure. He and Sqat discuss Nintendo's inconsistent past of providing retro games on their systems. Playstation's and Xbox's legacy support are also talked about with their own pros & cons. Examples are given of games that have been or are at risk of being lost to time for these same reasons. To end things off Sqat and Ratnado give recommendations of eShop titles to nab before it's too late.
Is this our most pessimistic episode yet?
